Antique Handmade Peking Art Deco Chinese Rug, Animal Birds, 3'7" x 6'10", c-1920, woven with natural soft wool pile, in blue background color and with directional design of flowers tree of life birds and animal.
This rug is in excellent condition with full long pile throughout of the rug and the ends plus the sides are secured, it has been professionally cleaned.
This wonderful antique Peking Chinese/Art Deco carpet was made early 20th century. Measures: 3'7" x 6'10". The rugs made of wool and silk with bold vibrant colors and the pattern are pictorial scenes and trees, birds, clouds, mountains, dragons, butterfly and flowers. The production of Art Deco rugs started from 1910s-1950s and mostly with western influence.
